 Arturo KG

(Majorio II x Lebrijana XI (by PoseidoV))

Son of the late Majorio II and half brother of Favorito de la Parra (same dam), Arturo KG, born June 2000, is a spectacular combination of dressage capability, smooth gaits and “high school” ability.  Arturo’s sire,Majorio II (our foundation stallion), was one of the few Andalusians to perform with the “Royal Lipizzan Stallion Show”. Majorio II toured North America for years with the show.

Arturo KG exhibits the extraordinarily powerful backend that enabled his sire to perform “airs above the ground” for years, and the lift and reach of his pure Carthusian dam.  Arturo has the natural charisma and “flash” that Majorio II passed to many of his offspring as well as his exceptionally smooth gait (in a breed known for a smooth ride).

Arturo KG stands 16.2h and like many young Andalusians with Terry or Carthusian bloodlines, he is only now beginning to fill out.

Arturo is heterozygous grey, so is equally likely to produce grey or non grey offspring.  Arturo carries the bay gene from his imported, Paco Lazo bred dam, Lebrijana XI.  Arturo’s dam was sired by the famous bay Terry stallion, Poseido V and is the full sister of the Varva model and multiple breed champion, Cordobes XX.

Arturo has a tremendous work ethic, which he exhibits in his dressage training.

Arturo is focused and animated when ridden by his trainer but careful and patient when ridden by his amateur owner. Arturo even seems to sense the days when his owner (a recovering cancer patient) is weaker than others and, even as a breeding stallion, is particularly careful with her on those days. Importantly, for the mare owner, Arturo is passing on his intelligence and work ethic.

Arturo is a proven sire who passes his charisma, athleticism and beauty to his foals.  All owners of foals by Arturo KG have been pleased with his offspring.
